PT. UCI JAYA is a mining company and a subsidiary of the Sentosa Mulia Bahagia Group, engaged in coal mining activities that produce sub bituminous coal with a calorific value of 3800- 3600 GAR, the quality of coal that is widely used in the energy industry today. PT. UCI JAYA, which was established in 2009, has the operational area that covers 3,800 hectares under the Production Operation Stage Mining Business License (Izin Usaha Pertambangan/IUP), located in Kecamatan Tungkal Jaya (Tungkal Jaya Sub-District), Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin (Musi Banyuasin Regency), Provinsi Sumatera Selatan (South Sumatera Province). PT UCI JAYA has estimated reserves of 68 million metric tons, proven reserves of 16 million metric tons, and resources of 162.5 million metric tons. The mining site is situated 160 km from Palembang city, South Sumatra Province, and 120 km from Jambi city, Jambi Province.
