Polyethylene (PE) electrofusion pipe fittings are used to join and connect portions of PE pipes. In the welding method known as electrofusion, the surfaces of the pipes and fittings are heated and melted, then fused to form a solid and dependable junction. PE electrofusion fittings, which include couplings, tees, elbows, reducers, and tapping saddles, are composed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and are available in a variety of sizes and shapes. These fittings are frequently used in industrial and mining settings, as well as in gas and water delivery systems. Using a specialized electrofusion machine, which applies a controlled electric current to the fitting and melts the HDPE material before allowing it to fuse, is how PE electrofusion fittings are installed. A robust, dependable junction that is resistant to corrosion and damage is produced by the electrofusion process. Each joint just takes a few minutes to finish with the electrofusion technique. PE electrofusion fittings are versatile and adaptable to a range of applications since they can be used with a range of PE pipe types.
