Advance Digital Asphalt Penetrometer

The Automated Digital Bitumen Penetrometer is used to measure the needle penetration by ASTM and EN standards. Using a pulse-type electronic measuring system, the needle's penetration depth is calculated. For roadway asphalt, modified asphalt, and any liquid petroleum asphalt or emulsified asphalt left over after evaporation, needle penetration measurements are appropriate. Food samples are penetrable through gravity force for a predetermined amount of time using penetrometers, which have a plunger and a needle or cone. To gauge the relative tenderness of samples like baked goods and gels, the depth to which the test instrument penetrates the sample is measured.
