The PCR machine is often referred to as a thermocycler, a DNA amplifier, or a thermal cycler. A primer and tiny genomic DNA or RNA fragments are amplified by PCR equipment. It is a cheap and very powerful instrument. It functions according to the ideas of complementary nucleic acid hybridization and nucleic acid replication to exponentially produce certain target DNA/RNA sequences by a factor of 107 in a few hours. The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is based on research that involved cloning genes and was carried out up to 1985. Millions of copies of a particular DNA are created by the PCR. This non-radioactive probe, which was previously only used for research purposes, is now an effective tool in molecular diagnostic labs.
